The Commandment Number Ten
For many people, maybe the law “Thou shan’t no kill”, or “Thou shan’t no steal” are the most supreme law that God has given to us.
And for another, the law that forbids us to praise or bow to other God may be the ultimate law. Since this law demand the ultimate obedience.
It’s true…. But if you ask me, I will give you the commandment that God said last, but sure did not least.
The commandments number ten.
Yup, that’s right. Surprise? Well don’t be.
You see, when we steal, or kill or betraying God it is an act that all people can see and judge instantly. And they become deadly because their naked visibility, they are so direct. Thus many people would say that these are the most dangerous sins that could happen.
But if you just wish to see, and take a look around us. Look and see at the world we live in, you’d be surprise that we actually have broken His commandment number ten. Even my self does that, yeah it’s true and I don’t want to deny it, not a tiny little bit.
Have you ever heard these sentences?
I wish to be richer.
God how much I want her,
I wish to have this and that
I just wish that I could do this and that
And other similar sentences that shows jealousy?
Or maybe you’ve said them your self?
Well, I did say those sentences, and believe me, the world we are living now, based on breaking God’s commandment number ten.
You see the will to get anything beyond our reach, often make us take the shortcut, than there they are.
Corruptions
Manipulation
Sexual harassments
Sexual disorientation
Criminality,
And God knows more…
A lot of people will say “I would kill for that.”
And say “I would do anything to have that”
Or “I will give anything….”
So… it doesn’t have to be a killer, thief, or converter to break all God’s commandment.
It’s enough to have a lust over everything we could not achieve to make us broke other nine commandments at once.
I said this because I’ve been there, and may God forgive me, I still am…
Because every time I do not feel satisfied, greed for more… I’ve broke His commandments.
So remember, the last shouldn’t always be the last.
But sometimes the last could be the deadliest off all.
